| With the building of the power market of our country, power quality has been regarded by power companies and customers more and more. Aiming at the need of power quality monitoring, the power quality monitoring system based on DSP is designed and developed in this paper.The characters of DSP chip make real-time calculation of power quality parameters possible. A power quality monitor based on DSP is designed in this paper. At first it gathers datum of local equipments, and then calculates the parameters of power quality using DSP, finally the results calculated will be sent through Ethernet and saved in memorizer.In this paper, a new approach toward the development of a power quality monitoring system has been proposed. Its independence from programming languages, computing platforms, and networking protocols makes it highly suitable for development of distributed applications. Power quality monitoring system involves distributed devices that need to communicate with each other. So it is a good choice to use CORBA to develop power quality monitoring system. |
