As a new structural system, staggered truss system has been known about it advantage by people. With the deep expansion studying and the application that the project is practiced, there.is some development about staggered truss. However, as regards the antiseismic behavior of the staggered truss during the course of elasticity-plasticity, there still have insufficient understanding. It is well .known that China is a country with much active earthquake. So it is of much significance and value to study the seismic behavior. In this paper, antiseismic behavior of staggered truss system is studied on the base of the review of theoretical study and practical application of staggered truss system at home and abroad.At first, this paper has carried on research for the whole transfiguration course with the pushover analysis method, which adopt the space-cooperation model. Under the analysis above, the position of the weak-story, the order that the hinges appear, the transfiguration of the structure is studied. And then, it is analysis by time historymethod with space model of element. The earthquake of structures and the time history traces of important positions are displayed. In the whole course of analysis, SAP2000 finite element software is used.At last, this paper provides corresponding conclusion and designing advice. In addition, different methods used to study the seismic behaviors of structure have been discussed as well.
