With the integrative development of world economy, port plays a more and more important role to a country's economy development. The construction of a port needs a large amount of fund ,a long period and relates to many problems. So port layout is an important composition to the economy development of a country or a district. Port is also a complicated logistics system which acts as a transportation hinge and the throat of portage. A perfect port logistics system includes five parts which are ship operation system, collection and separation system, load and unload system, production management information system, production attempter decision support system, It should be emphasized that the collection and separation system is an important part to the whole port, because the match between the front and the back of the system will directly affect the efficiency of the whole port,so the layout of the system is also very important to a port.Dayaowan is one of the four deep-water transfer ports that are planned to be constructed in our country, and it is also a crucial engineering to make Dalian become the centre of the northeast-Asian international shipping. This paper is based on the practical project that is the road net evaluation and the traffic layout of Dayaowan port. Based on the analysis of the present situation, we will make a road net evaluation and design a traffic layout for the first period engineering of Dayaowan. The more important thing is to accomplish the traffic effect analysis of the second period engineering of Dayaowan by predicting the yearly goods throughput in the second period, then elicit good suggestion to road net and traffic and parking layout so as to improve the traffic operation efficiency in the port and solve the crowded problem out of the port. The core of the paper is to gain scientific and reasonable suggestion to traffic organization layout of Dayaowan. According to three road net layout projects which are put forward by experts, with two excellent traffic simulation soft - Trans CAD and Synchro, We can respectively get the traffic current ,the road degree and the traffic condition in different intersection through applying the three project. At last I will bring out personal suggestion which will offer reference and gist to decision-maker by analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the three project.
