In recent years,with the rapid advancement of the "One Belt,One Road" construction and the "Marine potestatem" strategy,our country’s waterway freight volume has increased year by year,and the shipping industry has developed vigorously.In this process,the number of ships traveling between ports at home and abroad has increased year by year,and the size of ships has also shown a trend of large-scale development.Nowadays,the waterway traffic in our country’s ports is becoming more and more busy,the existing channel,berth,and anchorage resources are limited in carrying capacity,and marine accidents and congestion of ships occur from time to time.How to reasonably evaluate and improve the port vessel traffic organization is a difficult problem to be solved urgently by the port authorities at present.In response to this practical problem,this research refers to the current domestic and foreign research literature,analyzes the principles and influencing factors of port vessel traffic organization,introduces port service level as an evaluation method and determines evaluation indicators.On this basis,the port vessel traffic organization process is analyzed,the port vessel traffic organization queuing system model is built with the queuing system,and the method of using AnyLogic software to build a simulation model is studied.Then take the core port area of Ningbo Zhoushan Port as an example to conduct simulation research on vessel traffic organization.Design three plans for limiting the longitudinal spacing of ships,collect relevant survey data,adjust simulation models and set parameters for simulation experiments,analyze the impact of the plans on the service level of the core port area,and put forward suggestions for improving the vessel traffic organization in the core port area.The main work accomplished in this paper are:(1)The AnyLogic-based port vessel traffic organization simulation modeling methods proposed in this paper can simulate a variety of vessel traffic organization methods.This method can be applied to large and complex ports and has strong research and development potential.(2)This paper conducts a simulation study on the vessel traffic organization in the core port area of Ningbo Zhoushan Port,designs three ship longitudinal spacing restriction schemes,analyzes the effects of different schemes from the perspective of port service level,and proposes vessel traffic organization recommendations.
