| On the base of reading lots of literatures, according to study and developmentof harmonic drive, the roller chain harmonic drive,as an innovative mechanism,isfirstly investigated in our country. Some important and valuable results areobtained.Firstly, the construction composing principle and the transmission principleof roller chain harmonic drive are presented. On the base of type analysis,thedrive ratio formulas of all kinds of roller chain harmonic drive are deducedrespectively.Secondly, according to the gear mesh theory and the coordinate transformtheory,the theoretic profile and practical profile equations are derived. Then theparameters of profile equation are analysed. The equations of thecurvature,curvature radius on hypocycloid's tooth profile are deduced. Thetheoretical tooth shape and the practical tooth profile curves are drawnrespectively by MATLAB Language.Then, the animation simulation system of roller chain harmonic drive isbrought to success by MATLAB Language. The result of simulation systemshows that the curve profile of rigid gear is feasible and the movement law isconsistent with known harmonic drive.Finally, the design and manufacturing of prototype is performed .Theperformance of the prototype indicates that the theory conclusion is correct andthe structure design is feasible.With all these foundation, the roller chainharmonic drive will become industrialization later. |
