In automobile body manufacture process the cover panel design, the mold design and the manufacture processing occupies 60% of the entire processing of automobile body design and the process. Reduces this time for a while means speeds up the development of new vehicle type, and the cycle time of product puts in market. But in automobile body cover ramming process the technical difficulty is the ramming craft formulation and the mold designs. Reasonable ramming craft and high grade mold, not only can improve the pressing part quality and productivity ,also reduces the waste product rate. To formulate reasonable ramming craft and design high grade mold, we must study the pressing part the forming process. With the automobile industry modernization and computer technology development, the sheet forming process computer simulation technology obtains rapidly develops and applies. The traditional cover and the mold design mainly depends on the experience and test to complete, the criterion to which must achieve goal and must satisfy which in design is quite fuzzy, therefore guarantees product with difficulty the development cycle and the quality, simultaneously also increased the product development cost. The product quality mainly decides by the upstream design, if the upstream design in particular technological design had the disadvantageous influence to the quality, the downriver mold design is very difficult or absolutely cannot eliminate this kind of disadvantageous factor. In order to change this kind of condition, we must establish certain analysis appraisal tool for upstream stage technological design to guarantees the stage design reliability. To the automobile cover, the value simulates may take the design the analysis tool.This paper referred to the massive domestic and foreign technical material, elaborated in the sheet forming value simulation theory essential technology in detail, points out when analysis sheet forming question should use the big distortion ball plasticity FEM and introduce the application characteristic and the function summarizes of the sheet forming simulation software DYNAFORM . Secondly, analyzed the cover forming characteristic, Simultaneously introduced the influence cover forming factor in detail: such as ramming direction, the craft addendum surface and the material pressing surface, the radius of convex-concave mold, draw bead, pressure strength, blank size and craft margin and so on. And simulates many typical automobiles cover panel with software: such lateral board, back taillight pedestal and storage cover.Determination plan with the analogue result, and compared the inside cover panels and the outside...
