Research On Decision-making Of Structure Models And Cost Control Of Student House In Higher Schools

Along with the number increase of recruit students, the request of student apartment is getting greater. This demands more student apartment buildings being built. The new 2001 seismic fortification code revised lots of items old structural code. This revision enhanced the seismic fortification demands, especially in haikou city, resulting in the cost increase. This is difficult to schools which is poor in financing.As is well known, the design phase is the key phase in the whole process of construction. This paper gave a brief introduction about the new code influence to haikou city. And gave a comparison between the apartment influence on structural calculation on many aspects, like structural lectotype, concrete strength, infill wall materials. Through the comparison, this paper found an effective way to reduce cost.
