Preferred construction project design is a core part of the pre-decision stage, it is the main concentrated expression of the work in the early stages of the decision-making, and is also the basis of the follow-up work of construction project. Plan optimization is to realize the optimal of allocation of the construction resources, its help the construction investment scientific and democratic, it’s also the basic way of projects seeking reasonable economic and technical scheme. This study will take the DEA/TOPSIS which is objective multiple attribute decision making models into the practical application, which will provide a new train of thought for design scheme evaluation. The article is divided into four chapters:(1) Combined with the background of the current research status at home and abroad, giving the significance of research, and showing the research topics from content and technology. It is also expounds the related theory of the scheme optimization and the multiple attribute decision making. Putting forward the DEA/TOPSIS evaluation method, this is on the basis of fully analyzing the characteristics of the each decision methods.(2) This paper explores the evaluation index system of construction project conceptual design scheme optimization, before that it has been cleared the principles of establishing evaluation index system. This study summarized evaluation index for five categories: functional suitability index, economy index, technical feasibility, aesthetics, and environmental indicators after look up a lot of literature and collect expert opinions, and then express the composition of index in detail.(3) First, establishing the DEA / TOPSIS combination of objective multi-attribute evaluation decision model; second, analyzing the design of Ganzhou Hakka Bridge, then comparison and selection programs through the MATLAB software programming which helped calculation results; finally, analyzing the calculation results on the portfolio decision-making model and other several kinds of multiple attribute decision making method. The practice proved that the evaluation result of the combination model is more objective, scientific, and the model is easy to understand, calculation process is simple, more feasibility in the practical application.(4) Summarizing the main content of this research, by introducing the DEA/TOPSIS combined objective multiple attribute decision making models into practical application of the design scheme of the construction project optimization, and the combination model are verified through the comparison and analysis of objective and scientific. Finally forecasts the future research direction.
