Research On Impact Appraisal Of Rail Transit Station On Metropolitan Area Development

The thesis aims to study the transport appraisal of rail transit in metropolis. By combining theories with case studies, the thesis initially presents an appraisal frame of rail transit station, to provide preference for decision making on transit station plan and construction. The main research includes:1. To build a transport appraisal frame of rail transit station project, with appraisal method and process for transport plan and decision making.2. To discuss the impact area of rail transit station in Chinese metropolis, which is the physical area of transport appraisal.3. To analyze the transport and economic impacts of rail transit on station area on micro level, including the effect mechanism and favor condition, through the case study of Xujiahui area in Shanghai.4. To propose methodological and technical suggestion for transport plan by taking the appraisal into practice and drawing lessons from cases of foreign cities.Finally, the thesis proposes advices for plan and construction of rail transit station area, to encourage the favorite effect on area development of rail transit.
