The paper takes the Beijing city heating present situation as the basis, takes solvingthe city's heating (air conditioning) shoulder as the premise, takes the highly effectiveand clean uitilization of the clean fuel natural gas as the goal, introduces a suitableheating (air conditioning) way -Dual Source Heating(Air Conditioning) System forBeijing's characteristic.It is found that in comparison with conventional system itconsumes far less fossil fuel. Against the electrically driven heat pump, it provides amore reliable operation. Unlike CHP (Combined Heat & Power), the problem ofinterconnection with public power grid does not exist. In addition, to meet a specifiedheat load, the amount of natural gas needed to feed the system is remarkably reducedthan that needed for cogeneration system. This is important because in China natural gasis relatively scarce and the peak demand appears normally in heating seasons. The paper analysis the energy conservation and the environmental protectionperformance of Dual Source Heating (Air Conditioning) System union a actual case, andfurther forecast the application prospect of this system in Beijing.The case's analysisresult further indicated that Dual Source Heating (Air Conditioning) System brings a greeneconomy, it is not only helpful in promotes Beijing's sustainable development, but alsohelpful to construction economy, the environment friendly society.
