Study On The Popularity Phenomena Issues Of Urban Residential District Construction In Consumption Context

With the enhancement of the people's residential consumption standard, although the rapid development of urban residential district construction has improved the people's living conditions, it has also brought many problems at the same time, such as the problems of bigger and bigger flat type, exaggerated exterior figures, unpractical residential green parks and squares and so on. All these phenomena are just in the name of humanism and irrational. They victimize the external region environment to benefit internal residential district environment, nevertheless those actions not only waste limited resources and energy, but also further the spread of the consumerism. If we discuss the residential district construction from the aspect of residential district planning, or if we let the market economy principles to lead the spontaneous construction of residential districts, we will find that the both benefits between the developers and the housing consumers can not afford the sustainable development of society. The paper discusses the related issues of the "popular"phenomena of the urban residential district construction and its planning measures. First of all, the paper summarizes the study background, discusses the isomorphism of the urban residential district construction and housing consumption in essence, defines the related concepts and the research range, and proposes the logic frame of the investigation research work. Second, the paper discusses the characteristics and the existing questions of the "popular"construction mold of the present urban residential district construction, analyses its social background and architectural characteristic in the consumption discourse context. Then, the paper discusses the consumption ethic essence of the urban residential district construction's popularity, and proposes the definition and the basic principle of sustainable housing consumption. Finally, the paper analyses two residential district construction cases from the viewpoint of sustainable consumption, and proposes that it will be a feasible approach to lead the sustainable consumption from the aspects of the moderate physical space design, the suitable ecological technique, and the available public policies.
