| With the development of computer science and power industry, the graphic technology has become an indivisible part in power system applications. Firstly, the thesis introduces the process of developing of computer graphics and visualization technologies and summarizes the current software developed for graphical technology in power system. Then, it points out several disadvantages in the existing software, such as lack of diversity in the display style, lack of currency and updating or maintaining difficultly as well. To solve these problems, this thesis develops the research to graphic functions and common graphic platform. In the aspect of graphic functions, this thesis analysed three different graphic application mode in data display, operation process and network topology construction. The summary for graphics application appropriate for power grid information is made, followed by the specific demands during designing in real time processing,analyzing and calculating,information management,simulation and emulation of power system. As for graphic technologies, the significance of common graphic platform applicable to power system automation is illustrated. The key technologies for platform construction are analysed at the same time. Afterwards present the solutions for difficulties in multi-graphics display which are separating the data for graphics displaying from the data for computation, and in power mains diagram automation which can be solved by defining the rule base formed by the experiences of experts. These two matters are significant to the application brought forward. Based on the above researches, an open, transplantable and powerful common graphic platform is developed on the concept of object-oriented and component object model technology. After the detailed analysis of the main structure, object design and functional division of the platform, the structure designing and operating environment of the relational database management system is described. At the end of this thesis, the relevant computer technologies which can be applied in the graphic system of power system are discussed which is expected to furnish thorough application with directions and suggestions. |
