In the global manufacturing era, an agiler manufacturing system must be established because of increasing customized demands for products and decreasing product life cycle which should renew itself rapidly to adapt to the renovation of new technology, new products and new organizational structure. Adapting to the agile manufacture condition, research on the agile manufacture pattern as well as its realization technology is an important topic. They have the vital significance for solving the problems of optimization, adaptation, intelligence and agility of whole manufacturing system.One kind of production system reference architecture of agile enterprises is established based on the analysis of production process. Aiming at the problem of production planning and scheduling oriented Production-to-Order, the concept of Holon is introduced into manufacturing system and the various manufacturing entities are regarded as Manufacturing Holons by their own characteristics, such as "autonomy", "cooperation" and so on. In this way, the original manufacturing system was optimized logically.Three kinds of Holon which are the management class, the realization class and function class are defined based on six main function blocks. Analyzing the organizational structure relationship, aggregation, generalization of Holon in the system, the function and the interactive succession of order processing, external cooperation processing, plan making and production implementation are researched systemicly.Holon physics logical structure, formalized description, KQML communication language and the contract net protocol (CNP) are studied by profitting from the multi-Agent theory and method. To complete the realization technology of Holon structure, the UML class diagrams analysis, Java language and database are used. Meanwhile, through the research on Agile Manufacturing System, flow process and its control strategy mechanism based on Holon, the behavior control that is fixed rule combined with flexible strategy and free with host coordination strategy of Holon are proposed.The example demonstration about production planning and scheduling proves that the operation flow established by this model is effective and rational.Based on the above theoretic research, combined with concerned efforts of other researchers in lab, some related software is developed adopting JSP technology and SQL SEVER database and a software prototype of agile manufacture production management information system is formed.Test results prove that method is feasible and system runs well.
