The Safty Planning Research Of The Large City Exhibition Area

With the sustained and rapid economic growth in China, exhibition Industry quietly emerged, the influence of large city exhibition areas to the economic, cultural and space have become more and more important for a city.The large city exhibition area has the characteristics of centrality in space, density in population, and the extension of activities and so on. A successful exhibition relies on the cooperation in many fields, once system failures, and then it will lead to the paralysis of the whole exhibition. The disasters of thelarge city exhibition areas have many feature, such as various, disastrous, impactive, consecutive and increased disaster growth in losses etc. At the same time, the density population, and high wealth gathered in the large city exhibitions which makes it possible to cause huge losses in limited region, and to bring a serious threat to the life and property, so that the studies to the large city exhibition area's security problems have an important and actual value.The city exhibition security issues increasingly prominent, the serious catastrophic events cause casualties, economic losses and social turbulence become increasingly serious. In fact, exhibition security issues have become an important topic in the development of the new exhibition industry. A successful exhibition should be safe firstly. The important situation of large city exhibition requires us to fully understand the importance of security issues and to give the guarantee in theories and methods.This thesis start with management theory, analyzes the security requirements of large city exhibition, and then gives an analysis and evaluation to the current disasters and risks. At the same time, it builds a preliminary security system;then, in the point of view from Urban Planning, explores and discusses the security management in the location of large city exhibition, space layout, safety facilities and the organization etc. Considering the significance that Expo serving as a representative of the typical large city exhibition, this thesis gives a research to the2010 Shanghai Expo as an example.It is anticipant that this thesis would get a preliminary large city exhibition safety planning theory and methods after analyzing and studying, provide a sample for reference and some decision supports to the organizational units of large city exhibition.
