With the development of science and engineering technology, city buildings constructed according to "code for seismic design of buildings" can resist the earthquake basically. But the buildings in undeveloped village and small town can't achieve this seismic level, because of the influence of a good many factors such as undeveloped economy, architecture materials, structure types and traditional construction customs ect.In this paper, for the Timber-truss-bearing and Adobe-wall-shielding One-storey Building, shaking table test of a full-scale model is carried out to validate the effect of these seismic measures adopted. To contrast with results of the experiment, the model is also analyzed by the finite element program SAP 2000. Results of the analysis can provide the reference of improving the seismic ability of this building in existence. Results of the study are the data applied for code emendation. The main conclusions are as follows:First, for the full-scale model of the Timber-truss-bearing and Adobe-wall-shielding One-storey Building, which is strengthened with seismic measures, the integration and connection between joints of this structure are reinforced, so its seismic level is improved by leaps and bounds.Second, the cost of these seismic measures adopted is low, which is acceptable to the farmer, so they are economical and feasible.
