Study on the mechanical properties of heat preserving concave concrete block wall that can economize on energyThe mechanical properties of heat preserving concave concrete block wall are studied, used many theories and finite element method in this paper. At first, summarize domestic and overseas application and general situation of concrete block, then the advantages and problems of concave concrete block building are illuminated.Using two different finite element models, compress and shear destroyed states, starting crack load and ultimate bearing capacity are obtained. Some conclusions are revealed from these results: the bearing press capacity of concave concrete block wall is a little smaller compare to normal block wall, but the shear bearing capacity, the crack load and ultimate load are distinct lager than the later, and the amount of cracks are more than normal block masonry. According to the simulating results and adopted regression analysis method, stress—strain curve and shear bearing capacity calculate formula of block masonry are gotten. Through analysis and compare, the stress—strain curve of concave concrete block masonry shows obvious nonlinear characteristic than normal block masonry.Basing on compressive mechanism and main factors that impact compressive strength, the compressive strength formulas of block masonry are establish, using stress and strain method respectively; Basing on mechanism of shear and main factors that impact shear strength, the shearing strength formulas of block masonry are set up, introducing Hoffman rule and the twin shear strength theory method respectively. The formulas in this paper are more comprehensive and rational than actual criterion, which are salutary discussing to establish shearing and compressive strength formulas of masonry.
