This article introduces the CAD/CAE technology on the design of the final transmission gear of bulldozer, the main production of Shandong Bulldozer Corperation—TY320, in view of the insufficiency on the existing design method.By using Pro/E software, an actual parametric model of cylindrical gears constructed. The model can be easily changed in terms of gear geometric parameters. This guarantees the involute profile of the gear, and can changes its size and the shape according some essential parameters which is inputed.Then, this article studies the combine of Pro/E and the ANSYS, solves the problem of the finite element analysis moldding of complex products. Using the interface of ANSYS and Pro/E, the gear model is actually imported to ANSYS software. Then obtains the static and modal characteristic by using the finite element analysis technology, obtains the strain diagram and modal parameters. When carrying on the static characteristic analysis, this article analysis the most disadvantageous position, and obtains the load's size and the direction, thus guarantees the rationality of the gear strength calculation. When carrying on the modal analysis, studies that the low step vibration gets up the leading role, prepares for the further dynamic analysis.By contrasts with the theoretical calculations and the experimental results, the finite element analysis results are basically acorrd. This proves that the finite element model is accurate. This article also gave the preliminary improvement comment to its structure optimization.This article also proposes to its structure optimization, and lays a preliminary foundation for the further optimized analysis, the power response computation and the power match research.
