To meet the current needs of small substation development, enhance their level of automation. Research and development of technology based on ARM processor Substation protection device.This paper studies the substation computer hardware circuit protection device, includes LPC2292 ARM7 microprocessor chip, the signal input output circuit, the communication and the network connection electric circuit, the man-machine contact surface display panel electric circuit four parts, in the article to various part of electric circuit function, the characteristic as well as the primary device choice, the pin connection has carried on the detailed introduction.The system uses the modular design, various functions electric circuit integration in four electric circuits panel, namely: The voltage current transformer board, the master control board, the relay panel and a demonstration minute board. The anti-jamming capabilities, and work to improve device stability, Analog Input Channel, Switch Input circuit CAN bus circuit, microprocessor LPC2292 are designed with Ethernet interface circuit in the main control circuit boards.This topic development microcomputer protective device enhanced the protection performance and the reliability greatly, not only may complete the relay protection function, moreover in does not have in the breakdown normal operation situation also to be possible to complete the survey, the control, the data communication function, i.e. realization protection, control, survey, data communication integration. Has satisfied the electrical power system relay protection installment selectivity, the speed, sensitive, reliable as well as real-time multi-duty several big requests.
