With the rapid development of the motorcycle in China, the manufacturers have changed their products from low-level to high-level to occupy larger market share in the world. At present, there exits a great gap in designing the advanced motorcycles. In order to realize the goal of making China a great power in designing and manufacturing motorcycle, Chinese manufacturers must apply the most advanced modern design methods to produce motorcycle, follow and study the products from the great powers to make the goal mentioned above come true.The main research in this paper includes:1.To build the digital 3D models and FEA models of the frames of two motors in UG in accordance with the real frames.2.To analyze the mode of two FEA models, to get their frequencies and vibration modes in FEA models and in tests, and then compare these two group data to testify the validity of FEA method.3.To find maximum stress and strain in the frames and to analyze two frames under static loads to compare the features of two frames.4.To find the shortcomings of the frame of the American motorcycle and better it with FEA analyses.
