Study On Energy Saving Design For Residential Buildings In The Cold Zone

Researches on energy conservation in building, especially in residential buildings, are urgent particularly in front of the world energy crisis. Today many countries have conducted thorough researches on this subject. Among the discussion and researches on various energy-efficiency methods, development on energy-saving building materials , new technics, new heat preservation windows and doors, and new energy etc. have received more attention.However, energy-efficiency design before construction also has effects on energy saving, which has been neglected for a long time. These passive energy-efficiency design methods, including community site selection, plan layout, architectural form, building design, construction detail design and so on, are extremely important research areas remaining unresolved.According to the geography climate characteristic of China, this article took residential building as research object. In view of energy consumption characteristic in cold areas, and considering the multiplicity and the instability of the weather effect factors, energy conservation design methods are proposed corresponding to plan, building form, transitional space, exterior protected construction and so on . To provide systematic design method for architects and to construct energy-conservation modern residential building with region characteristic are aimed at in this study, which is discussed specifically from the following aspects:Firstly this article summarize the origin and great significance of the selected topic , reviewing the study situation by now, and definiting the research direction.Secondly, many kinds of energy conservation design methods of residential building in cold areas are analyzed and summarized from two aspects: layout and architectural design .And application of renewable energy in architectural design are described. By the end of this paper, three projects which implemented energy conservation strategies are analyzed to verify the application effect of energy conservation design method in practice.
