Using the differential evolution arithmetic solves the problem of substation location optimization, and making use of the parameter dynamic adjustment strategy to guarantee the multiplicity of colony in the computation initial period and speed up the optimization speed of arithmetic in the later period, thus greatly improve the capability of DE arithmetic. In the process of substation locating and sizing for the distribution network, based on considering the influence of Geographic Information System on the substation site, the graph of conformable substation constructed district is dealt with code to store by the data form, and makes sure the actual feasibility of the substation site through judging the relation of substation site and the network topology of geographic factor. The optimization computation results of two calculated examples indicate that, taking the GIS database as the platform, unifying this algorithm and the graph question, good effect has been obtained in the solution to large-scale substation plan question for the actual distribution network.
