The design of reverse engineering is a pattern of new products exploitation,whose application has spreaded many fields. But there are a lot of factors which decide its success and failure. Data measuring is an important stage in reverse engineering,and the precision of measuring data is key which decides whether the model of later digitlization or not can restore the shape of the actual objects in the error controlling scope.The article is based on an advanced measuring equipment- ATOS 3D-optical Measuring system. It analyzed and studied the principle of optical triangle,the technology of raster stripe displacement and the technology of reference points automatic combination. It introduced the basic process and step of measuring the shape of actual objects using ATOS system, and analyzed the error source in carrying on data measuring in detail, and summarized the characteristic of error in measuring actual objects,and found some methods which can improve the measuring precision. Also,it studied the process of data pretreatment and the influence of data treatment precision which based on ATOS software, and enduced that the process of data pretreatment and a conclusion which setting the reasonable system parameters is the key of improving data treatment precisionThe research in this article will help to improve the quality of data measuring and data treatment , and supply significant reference value especially for improving the precision of model in reverse design.
