The Study Of The Holistic Urban Renewal Strategies In The Period Of Rapid Unbanization

The thesis firstly analyses the process of the urbanization, pursues the evolution rules of the interrelated urban renewal factors under the background of globalization and rapid urbanization, points out the contradictions in urban renewal. .Secondly, the thesis brings forward a holistic set of urban renewal strategies on the strategic level, analyses the concepts, legal guarantee and measures of the urban strategies. Furthermore, discusses the interaction between renewal factors under the urban strategies, points out the corresponding realistic choices. Finally, the thesis analyses in detail the development ofNanjing urban renewal measures in order to explore a significant holistic set of strategies for the urban renewal in the country.The thesis is divided into 6 totally chapters. Chapter 1 introduces the reason , meanings, technical means of the study; Chapter 2 discusses the realistic urbanization background of the urban renewal, analyses the process and models of urbanization and influences on the urban renewal; Chapter 3 studies the main contradictions in the process of urban renewal, analyses the interrelated factors, such as urban central district, urban traffic, historic conservation and sustainable development, under the influences of the rapid urbanization;.Chapter 4 puts forward the holistic urban strategies, analyses the concepts, legal guarantee and measures of the urban strategies by the introduction of the French urban strategies; Chapter 5 concentrates on the interactions between the urban strategies and the interrelated urban factors; Chapter 6 select Nanjing as an example to introduce in detail the holistic urban strategies in practice, summarizes the significance of holistic urban strategies under the rapid urbanization.
