Research And Development Of Engineering Database System On Metro

Recently, with the rapid development of subway in China, the data and information related to the process of design and management are much more and the format is hard to uniform. The requirement of data management in projects can't be met. On the other hand, with the high-quality of the design and management work in subway project, computer is used more often in the management of data and information. As a result, the research and development of subway database suitable for the data management of subway design are important.Deep research has been done on the actuality of data management in project. The scientific management mode by means of computer has been put forward. Combined with the actual requirement of department in The Third Railway Survey and Design Institute (TSDI for short), analysis of management mode has been done on subway project data in civil engineering . The extensively used database technology, Management Information System (MIS) and internet technology have been applied to make the development system complete.The main research content in this paper is as follows:1) Make a deep research on management actuality of recent project data, and the scientific management mode of project management, collaborative design, management of engineering drawings and files.2) Data of design drawings or underground station construction and structure in different stages and different specialties are collected, sorted and arranged. Thus the database can be formed and the powerful function of searching and analysis can be supplied.3) Dynamic management can be used in database, and it can be renewed or expanded to meet the ever-changing design requirement. It is convenient to upload and download the subway data, so the goals of data management in project and resource sharing can be achieved.The traditional management mode can be changed if this system is used. The data and material can be stored and managed conveniently and accurately in subway design process. The searching and resource sharing can be easier for the designers of subway. At the same time, the efficiency of data management in subway project can be improved.
