Study Of Railway Location Engineering Database Management System

As an important part of virtual environment railway location design system, railway location engineering database management system is base of storing information and tool of dealing with information. Railway reconnaissance data can be managed precisely and conveniently by railway location engineering database management system .Therefore ,the efficiency of railway reconnaissance design will have great improvement .This paper analysed the idea and method of original railway location engineering database system developed by Southwest Jiaotong University. So on the basis of original system , this paper has gone deep into study. And I developed a new railway location engineering database system . Its function has become perfect by comparison . Based on this idea , the major study contents and results can be summarized as follows:1) At first,the paper analysed characters of data and information generated in the process of railway reconnaissance. And according to the content and property of data and information generated in the process of railway reconnaissance, railway location engineering database management system was divided into four parts. They were parts of design standard, reconnaissance information, design information and design outcome. In the end, the dissertation expressed database design method of each part. The paper also discussed design method of information input and information output as well as functions of each part.2) The structure of railway location engineering database management system was discussed in the dissertation .And a structure of Multiple Database System was applied to this system. Meanwhile, this paper has pointed out methods of designing this structure.3) The methods of studying railway location engineering database system were also discussed .And I expressed my own method in the dissertation ,i.e. the idea of original system was used for reference and improved. I have also explained the reason of selecting software used to develop functions in this paper .
