Study On The Relationship Of Transportation Mode And Energy Consumption And Exhaust Pollution

With the development of city transportation, the energy consumption and automobile exhaust pollution is more and more serious. Therefore, it's necessary to find out a kind of transportation mode with less energy consumption and automobile exhaust, especially for some countries with growing automobile volume, lack of energy and serious exhaust pollution such as China now. How to select urban transportation mode is based on energy consumption and exhaust pollution situation. Different modes of transportations have different energy consumption and different impact of air pollution. Meanwhile, in a certain area, because of the change of the relationship between supply and demand of resources or environmental conditions, the mode of transportation may also be changed. The key of sustainable development is to coordinate the constitution of human society, resources, environment and economic system. As an important economic component, sustainable development of the transportation can affect the entire socio-economic level and the people's living standard.Based on the data about transportation of some typical cities, this paper fully analyses the transportation mode, energy consumption and environmental impact of transportation, one of which can affect the others. Meanwhile, it builds the linear regression model through the analysis of the data about transportation mode, energy consumption and environment pollution of some typical cities. Moreover, based on the economic theory, this paper also analyses the relation and rules of the transportation mode, energy consumption and environmental impact of transportation, so as to support the transportation environment's sustainable development concept, and to find out the effective factors about the environment's sustainable development.The paper first analyses the economic theories about the economic externality and external costs related to internal economic of the transportation mode, energy consumption, and the environment related to. Meanwhile, it discusses how to make the external cost to internal come true. On the base of this theory, it discusses the effects of the three main factors with some typical cities' transportation, energy, and environmental comparative analysis. It also takes Guangzhou City as an example for series analysis, such as personal car volume, annual passenger volume, transportation, travel commitment rate and the proportion of passenger volume to find out the factors of energy consumption and the environment pollution then focus on sustainable transportation in the last part.
