| Universial Serial Bus is based on high-speed transmission technology,with some unique advantages,such as:Plug and Play,easy-extended and high speed.it has developed rapidly during the past few years.Specs for USB-based transmission has kept on updating.and USB has already been widely applied in various kinds of peripheral devices and multimedia equipments.etc.In order to apply this technology more effectively and fully take its advantages,it is necessary to run a deep study on this transmittal method.the paper presents a deep researth on USB2.0 technology,selected a high cost-effective USB interface chip—ISP1581 to implement the USB interface.it designed the whole resolution,including hardware design,firmware and WDM driver designthe paper finished following work:.Introduced USB developing background and its present status,discussed USB technique characters and development history,point out that high speed data transmission interface based on USB2.0 is a suitable method to solve data downloading from massive storage device.Describing background knowledge of USB.these include USB structure,USB bus extend,physical interface data flow model and USB protocol;Hardware structure design and firmware development.designed hardware ciucuit,the connection method between the MCU and ISP1581. designed mcu firmware,implemented the USB device enumeration and data downloading,which also provide the hardware stability and ensure that usb interface's high speed performance is fully used.Developed the driver for the designed usb interface,deeply researched the WDM,the implemented driver totally accord with WDM layer model.which has clear structure and convenient transplant ability.Through the whole process of usb interface development,got familiar with the flow of implementing a usb interface.and come out a conlusion:the USB2.0-based interface has advantages of high speed/reliability and PnP.
