This article studied reinforced concrete cover board culvert completing diagram parameterized drawing, based on which the culvert CAD software is developed using ActiveX combined with VB.In the procedure development aspect, the reinforced concrete cover boardculvert data is firstly analyzed in the article.Then an Object-Oriented method is applied to abstracts the reinforced concrete cover board culvert to contain the data type which the drawing parameter needs, describes between each parameter level relations, has discussed the data transfer mode. According to drawing convention of reinforced concrete cover board culvert completing diagram, there is a need to develop different modules and take parameterized drawing, which promotes drawing efficiency.In conclusion, programming model of ActiveX Tool and VB Language combined, program builds an Access database of culvert engineering data, then realize the second development of AutoCAD.By means of powerful visualized function of VB Language, realizing the control and manipulation of AutoCAD through ActiveX Tool, makes reinforced concrete cover board applied designing system parameterized, standardized, integrated and utilized, therefore, program become tightly-connected software with AutoCAD in Windows. This software makes those into reality, namely, drawing of reinforced concrete cover board culvert completing diagram, calculation of engineering capacity of reinforced concrete cover board culvert, output of engineering data diagram and relatively great advantage on graphic expression.
