Quayside container crane is an absolutely necessary technical equipment in heavy industry transportation in our country. As a large lifting conveying equipment to improve the throughput of loading and unloading, quayside container crane is widespread used in dockyard and port, so the structure design of quayside container crane is very important. Presently, there are some problems in the design structure of quayside container crane as follows: 1)it is almost designed by the way of manual-software, that is manually creating model, manually getting result. Then, the efficiency of creating model and getting result is very low, what's more, the structure calculation of each quayside container is isolated, and the structure can not be calculated circularly, so the optimal design can not be realized; 2)CAE can not lead to CAD, and CAE is only as the checkout of CAD;3)In the structure design of crane, only check the intensity and rigidity, didn't consider the fatigue. Actually, the fatigue is one of the main inactivation too. Pointed to the above three problems, based on the finite element method (FEM), mechanic vibration theory and fatigue theory, using parameterized method and the FEM simulation software-ANSYS, this dissertation works out the numerical simulation of the crane structures as the vehicles lifting loads, researches the static and dynamic character, analyses the fatigue and exploits a relevant numerical simulation software. The main research contents are as fellows:1) To build a crane structure's parameterized FEM model using ANSYS internal command—APDL and parameterized method. It is conveniently and quickly to modify and recalculate the model in FEM analyzing.2) To program a command document of numerical simulation of the crane structures as the vehicles lifting loads by the parameterized model, the internal command of ANSYS and APDL, realize the moving crane numerical simulation and get result.3) To study the crane structure's dynamic characters. To program a command file, gain the first 10 former natural frequency and mode shapes, and finally analyze the results.4) To analyze the fatigue of the crane, get result.5) To pack up the numerical simulation of crane by Visual Basic, the interface of the simulation software is simply readability, make ANSYS computing in the backstage, and give the result. Then the user who is ignorant of ANSYS can use it.
