Concrete-filled steel tubular (CFST) arch bridge as a new-type bridge is widely applied in China recently. And it is a relatively ideal structural form for long-span arch bridge. It has been growing up rapidly in our country in recent years, and it can luckily make agreement with the factual situation of bridge engineering. The erection of the main arch-ring of CFST arch bridge is a complex process, in order to certify the arch line and static structure behavior in the finished state that meet the requirement of design, it is very necessary that the construction monitoring be adopted in the whole construction.With the real situation of the Mianjiang river bridge that is under construction in Ruijin City, Jiangxi Province. Firstly, the summary of the erection methods of CFST arch bridge, and brief analysis advantages and disadvantages of several erection methods and its application range. Secondly, the structure and construction of CFST arch bridge be made more detailed introduction, and it be analyzed of the structural calculation.Furthermore, with the erection of the arch-ring of CFST arch bridge as the main research route, both deformation and stress (strains) are monitored where the section deflections of steel tubular arch ribs and the deviation of the arch axis line are key issues. At the same time, the development of stress (strains) is monitored. Through the internal forces calculation of structure model during the erection of CFST arch bridge, the calculated results and the measured results obtained in site are compared, and it can be referenced in the next research of this type of structures...
