Study On The Problems Of Urban Parking Planning

It is the top priority to solve the parking problem, with the development of the economy, the size of cities expanding, the population density increasing, the number of cars greatly increasing.To solve the parking problems of cities, first considering the parking planing, the parking construction and the parking management in the city. The main problems whitch considered in the parking planning and construction include demand of the park, matching the various parks, selecting the locations of the parking facilities and so on. Studying these problems further will provide an important basis for the decision-making managers, and it is an important guiding significance for solution to the problems of the static urban traffic.First, the current development of internal automobile are analyzed in this paper, further as well as the city parking problem and the solution to parking problems, have main research on the forecasting of parking demand and the layout of choosing the place of the public park outside the road. Finally, it advances the policy of the park management in our country.The forecasting of parking demand is the core problems which be researched in the city of Automobile Parking System, it is a complex process affected by many factors. Chapter 3 analyzes the factors affecting demand for park and its role in the plan of transport system. it also analyzes the forecasting methodologies of the parking demand and advances the emendatory method based on network capacity and the exemple of the application.It is a complicated problem to select the locations of the parking facilities. Chapter 4 first analyzes the principle of setting up a public park outside the road and its influence factors. Second, it establishes the multi-objective optimization model of the location of the park, based on analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the current mode, then selecting the locations of the parking facilities, sloving in the method of the contrast coefficient of the multi-objective decision-making, through comprehensive comparison, selecting the best plan. Finally, it makes an example about the planning of the public park outside the road in the center of Chengdu.Whether parking management is effective, this has a direct impact on the motor vehicle travel, solving the contradiction between the supply and demand of the park and easing traffic problems. Basing on the analysis of current condition of the parking management and policies at home and abroad, Chapter 5 advances the policy of the urban parking management for the actual situation of the urban park in our country.
