| JHX-5 swapping and dispatch winch with twofold applications has independent intellectual property right. This type of winch has many advantages, such as high efficiency, small volume, compact structure, smooth running, good lubrication performance and excellent seal. Nowadays design of this type of winch is still in the traditional experience-based stage, in order to improve the design structure and guarantee good running performance of this winch, this paper will break through traditional 2-dimension design method and explore its 3-dimension design process.At the first place, this paper deduces main parameters computation process of the JHX-5 type swapping and dispatch winch with twofold applications in theory and makes clear of its extreme loaded condition when running so as to offer reliable base for analyzing roller with Finite Element Analysis in the later chapters.Then, 3-dimension model of the winch by the design software Solidworks is built up, virtual assembly is carried out and 2-dimension drawings are obtained by transformation, and the next step is to take the 3-dimension model into ANSYS environment by transformation in order to analyze the roller of the winch by Finite Element Analysis. So, visualization of the winch running state is realized which lays a solid base for the further analysis of kinematics and dynamics characteristics of involute gear with small tooth number difference.At last, experiment schemes for the winch performance are put forward and compared and the the best one is chosen.JHX-5 swapping and dispatch winch winch with twofold applications has a bright future.
