| After the completion of the Three Gorges project, the Three Gorges reservoir will form a area that is 670 kilometer-long, 40 billion cubic meters of water ,the area of over 1,000 square kilometers in the huge reservoir, This will greatly facilitate the rapid development of the Chang Jiang River shipping. Shipping volume will increase quickly , sewage will increase , By then, the surface of the river will wide, the water flow will slow, the flow of the reservoir water from 3m/s to 0.2m/s~0.3m/s, so the self-purification capacity will be greatly diminished of water, it is difficult to spread pollutants. The ships of the Three Gorges reservoir are complicated. The old ships has backward technology, Most ships lack environmental protection facilities, they produce a lot of pollution to the reservoir basin, so the increase performance of the Green ships in the reservoir area is imminency, while the assessment for ships green degree of LCA is the first thing.The thinking of Life Cycle Assessment(LCA) appear from 1960s to 1970s in the 20 century.In the 1993, ISO begin to draft ISO14000 environmental management standard series, LCA bring into this standard series. Through the past 30 years development, LCA to become importment tool for environmental management and product design in the international.In this paper, the actual pollution in the reservoir area, and the ships environmental performance evaluation system and the green degree assessment of ship life cycle is the main objective of the study. To analyze LCA, ship Green degree analysis of the features and content of the establishment of a suitable system for assessing the degree of Greenpeace ship of the Three Gorges reservoir area, establish the appropriated the assessment system for the ship green degree in the Three Gorges reservoir. Main contents of this paper are:1. On the base of ship green degree concept and the meaning of the ancestors study, to analyze the base essential, feature and actual pollution of ships in The Three Gorges. 2. Research the EEP-LCA system which based on the LCA of ISO14000 ,to establish the base of ship green degree assessment system.3. Combination of reservoir Ship's environmental perform,pollution and EEP-LCA assessment system, performance targets for the ships in the reservoir area to the environmental impact, to set an evaluation index system for Three Gorges reservoir and to quantitative compute the ship green degree of the operation stage.In this paper, we use Fuzzy-AHP system, establishing a rational evaluation hierarchical structure, Green Degree will be converted to the specific number, to provide the foundation for the decision-making section and green ship designer , so as to enhance the environment-friendly nature of the ships in the Three Gorges reservoir area.In a word, the combination of the "Green" theory and Life Cycle Assessment and Marine Engineering is the trend design and construction of ship.
