Aircraft tooling standard part library of CAD is significant to improve efficiency and quality of aircraft tooling design, shorten the design cycle. At present, aircraft tooling design efficiency is influenced seriously due to incomplete aircraft tooling standard part library, irregular library files, lacking effective methods of library building, library management and library usage. In order to solve these problems, some correlative technologies of aircraft tooling standard part library are studied, and a system of aircraft tooling standard part library is developed according to the requirement of a large aeronautics manufacturing enterprise, which is collaborated with Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. The aircraft tooling standard part library technologies, such as standard part building technology, standard part managing technology and standard part library selecting technology are studied. The main jobs of this paper are as followed:1)A technology of part library building based on double-table driving is proposed. By using the middle controller, the data in the double-table is arrayed and combined automatically according to the rule of parameter mapping, then the complete parameter table is created. Compared with other part library building tools, the efficiency and quality of creating standard part library are improved greatly.2)The data and information style of aircraft tooling standard part library are designed. The managing rules of aircraft tooling standard part library are created, including limits of authority, expansion of standard part, modification of part data and deletion of standard part. Therefore, the standard part library can be well managed and preserved.3)A double search and preview methods of standard part selected is proposed. With the help of 3D and 2D pictures, standard part is searched first, then the specification is selected, and the standard part is saved to current aircraft tooling path in the form of flow. Hence, the search and select efficiency is improved conspicuously. The aircraft tooling standard part library style of files and information is designed.4)A system of aircraft tooling standard part library is developed base on the above study. The system is made up of standard part library creating model, standard part library managing model and standard part library searching and using model. This system can satisfy the requirement of completion of standard part data and dynamic expansion of standard part library. The system is used to design aircraft tooling in a large aeronautics manufacturing enterprise, which can function well.
