The development of mordern manufacturing technology make CAD system wildly use in mordern enterprises. In order to meet the need of the mordern design, the technology of CAD become more mature than ever. Different CAD system has differect advantages. This article introduces some CAD systems and the trend of it.In order to make the time limit for a project become shorter, mordern enterprise must use many standard parts. A scicetific and uniform rule is needed to describe and set up CAD standard parts library. This rule ensures the CAD standard parts library transplantable so that the information of CAD standard parts library can easily transplant among enterprises and within enterprises. The international standard ISO 13584 meet the demand of the standard parts library information exchanging and sharing among enterprises and within enterprises. The objective is to provide a neutral mechanism capbitlity of transferring parts library data.UG/Open GRIP that belongs to UG system can build programs just as FORURAN language. It can relize design assemble creat drawings and document administration. We can use GRIP implement evey function of Unigraphiscs. ISO 13584 provide neutral document which can creat the relation of aimness and foundation that can create parts by FORTURN language, thus realize the parameter feature modeling. In order to use library information efficient so that we can communicate information easily, we create an interface that can relize data sharing in different CAD.For the assemble parts is belong to the CAD standard parts library, this article describes how to built the single part and assemble parts in detail, and implement the parameter feature modeling.
