The aircraft tooling is the base of the aircraft manufacturing, the quality and the developmenttime of aircraft design are significantly affected by it. At present, there are a lot disadvantages in theprocess of aircraft tooling design, such as: poor quality, the lack of normative and a lot reuse of thedesign. In order to solve these problems, according to the requirements of a large aeronauticscorporation, the normative rapid aircraft design technology is studied. The system based onknowledge of the aircraft tooling is developed.As an important component of the above researches, this paper covers following aspects:Firstly, KBE theories is researched, such as knowledge represention, modeling andacquisition. And integrated with the development of the system is studied.Learn a lot of the design rules of the aircraft tooling, analysis the current situation of thetooling design, and develop the design system with the naming rules to realize the rapiddesign function.The naming of the components based on the final assembly is researched, a new way basedon parameter factor to manage the sequence number of the components is proposed for theaircraft tooling.The normative design of drafting is studied, learn about the features mapping between3D to2D, the normative and rapid design of drafting is designed.The technology of establishment standard parts library is researched, learn about the partsand components have been built by Main Parameter. At the same time, the tool for callingstandard parts has been developed for the purpose of that the user can add standard parts tothe library.
