Research On The Post-Evaluation Index System Of Marshalling Station's Construction

Marshalling station plays an important role in our railway network and actual operation, and this situation will continue for a long time in the future. it can be proved from "medium and long-term railway network planning" which had been confirmed by the State Council in January 2004. There are successful experiences and failed lessons in the marshalling station's building from recalling the course of their development, how to use the experiences and lessons, post-evaluation will be placed in the front. In this context and combining the Railway Ministry's Science and Technology research and development projects, "the study of rational distribution Marshalling Yard" (contract number 2004F022) which charged by Beijing Jiaotong University Professor Lin Bo-liang, this article proposed post-evaluation index system of marshalling station's construction.When study the index system, this paper gives 3 aspects: the position in railway network, its operation results and sustainable development. After analysing every different conditions and the principle of comprehensive evaluation index, this article gives 10 indicators. They are: the number of link way, the number of formating destination, the coordination with the adjacent marshalling station, the staying time of wagon with shunting operations, the utilize ratio of station capacity, the operation reliability, the phase development, the coordination to city planning, the facilitation to city development and the effect to surrounding environment and residents.As to the evaluation methods, we select very mature AHP to solve index weight. Using the weighted average method and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to figure out the evaluation results, the former is the most primitive and effective method, the latter is suitable for railway practice and possible comprehensive approach.Selecting indicators is as far as possible to comply with the principles, but some indicators have the mutual relations because of the complexity of the railway. This papers give some explains and resolvents, try to get an objective evaluation result of marshalling station.When studying marshalling station's position and sustainable development of the phase development, we give two models. the former cites the model of studying report, the latter is a non-linear dynamic programming model, because it is difficult to solve directly, this paper gives how to solve this model with the shortest-path. Alter the examples application, the evaluation results are analyzed, give the summarizes and explains to the work done by this paper and some remaining problems and discuss the prospect of marshalling station's comprehensive evaluation in the end.
