Since London had built the first subway in the word,the urban transit has served people efficiently passenger transport for more than 140 years ,because it has special technical advantage: quickly ,timely,safety,cleanly,enviromentaly .However, urban transit belong to the largely scale,highly bulid price,and complicated technicality system engineering,the price of engineering is alwayes several billion even more ,moreover,the orbit cost of urban transit is very high ,so every country gives the highly admiration to the pre-planning of urban transit projects .meanwhile,rail systematic scale length is through the whole jobs of network planning ,so it is very important to give research on the scale length of network.Along with the deeply developing of network planning , research about rail systematic scale length can be divided in to rational scale length ,shape scale length and scheme length .Based on the traditional calculating method of rational scale length , the paper firstly summarize the currently calculating method of rational scale length in common use ,at the same time,the paper also gives the deeply concept about network scale length ,putting forward the hierarchical structural model of influencing factors of the network scale ,this model , basing on the pre-exsiting structure model , considers another factor ,city development strategy ,and concludes hieractural structure diagram.Secondly, this text chiefly studies another factor-scheme scale length about network scale length ,mainly from the reasonality of scheme scale length aspect , whether the scheme scale length is reasonable or not ,we should give a quantative scheme appraise The grey situation decision-making method builds up decision-making model based on the dismonotonous factor and multiple targets protocol,fully making use of exsited blank information ,reducing the error margion.On the basis of previous studies,the paper considers three kinds of poles,biggest pole ,smallest pole and just right value pole .finally ,using the upward scale length research theory and methods in Xiamen rail network ,mainly from two aspects: calculating rational scale length and verifying the reasonability of scheme scale length. The project gets a satisfied result.
