Research On Project Management Oriented On Product-developing Process In PDM

The globalization competition makes the circumstances of manufacturing enterprise become more and more difficult. Facing the more and more complicated market environment, the manufacturing enterprise has to push the product-developing process forward rationalization steadily under the huge cost and time pressure. Usually, in order to heighten the work efficiency in manufacturing section, the only method that can be adopted is putting a huge sum of funds, but the upriver section of manufacturing(namely the development design section)and the whole product-developing process management exists the possibility of the improvement clearly. Therefore studying a kind of management model which can satisfy customer special ,characteristic demanding and makes the manufacturing corporation keep up with the changefully and dynamic state of the market with intelligent reaction become more and more urgent. Based on the thought which oriented to the product-developing process, in order to make the manufacturing corporation carry out to develop a kind of new product with the shorter development period and lower the product cost, a model which makes the product be produced and assembled easily is given. This model makes the business enterprise itself adjust the speed of the variety market; also the flexibility and the market competition ability of the product have been strengthened. So it has the important theories meaning and engineering value.After analyzing the environment of the automobile manufacturing corporation (called J Corporation) and the shortage of the developing process, a model oriented to product- developing process which based on current PDM is given. And a further research on the project management model in the PDM is carried on and the project management model oriented to product-developing is built up. This model which takes the project management as core, takes the workflow management as foundation and takes the whole process of product-developing as stalk line (the Process Oriented Project, POP) gets a successful application in the J Corporation.Firstly, according to the characteristics of the product-developing process and the need of the applying analysis, a project model which oriented to product-developing process and based on current integrated product-developing environment (PDM) is given. And the key technique of the model realization which lays foundation for the research of the paper is discussed. Secondly, through analyzing the organization model of POP and combining the modern collaborative design theories of product-developing, a model of project management oriented to product-developing process is given. Making use of the COM technique, the UML technique, the movable network technique and the Petri net technique based on layer object, and combining the actual field of the enterprise product-developing view, the theories and technique in different layer of the process model is studied.Thirdly, in order to carrying out track and supervision the whole process of product- developing, a multi-view model which based on project structure tree is constructed. And which makes the project planning, task disassembling, task supervision, task supervision and project resources management become more and more practical and convenience. Through analyzing the project data object, a rights model of "point- plane-body" is given, which carries out the safe control of the project data object in the whole product-developing processes, and heightens the practicality of the project management in PDM.Finally, by integrating the POP model to the current PDM system in the J Corporation, the model gets a successful application. At last, the work of the full paper is summed up briefly and the problem that needs to be research and resolve in the future is pointed out.
