Analysis On Different Invest Strategy Of Large Container Terminal And Large Crude Oil Terminal

The project of investing on large container terminal and large crude oil terminal is both a competitive project and a socially fundamental project. The tendency of upsizing and specialization of terminal is a good opportunity to invest on these kinds of terminals. Nowadays, there are three main types of investing company active in the Chinese market of terminal invest: investing company of global terminal pool, investing company who has background of shipping company and local port group. This thesis analyzes the investing motivation, investing method and profit mode of these three kinds of investing company of terminal.Thinking in terms of supply chain, the investing value of terminal is not just based on the operational ability of the terminal itself, and the investing profit of terminal is not only from the income of terminal, either. By analyzing the influences of key panel joints of supply chain to the service of terminal, the investing value of terminal could be judged more comprehensively. Aiming at these three types of investing company, the supply chain of large container terminal and large crude oil terminal are drew and the investment index system are set up.By using Delphi Method, the indexes of investment index system are graded. And by comparing the two investment index systems of large container terminal and large crude oil terminal, we could see that in terms of supply chain, what the investing company should focus on when an investment strategy are made.
