Semi-flexible pavement is generally described as a composition pavement, which is filled with Portland cement grout in open-graded matrix asphalt mixture. A great deal of research had been done and taken into the application in domestic and overseas. But the research about semi-flexible pavement and its material is still in the start stage in our Country, the application of the pavement in road hasn't got well researched and generalized. Semi-flexible pavement behaves with more rigidity than asphalt pavement and more flexibility than cement pavement. It has both virtues of normal asphalt and cement pavement but avoids the defects of them. So, it has practical meaning and development prospects to study its application technology.In this paper, cement mortar mix was studied by the basis of consulting domestic and international research, cement mortar mix was decided which meet mechanical properties and fluidity, and mixing additives and polymer emulsion, developed Three mortar which have better comprehensive performance: the ordinary type, early strength and the polymer-cement mortar; Parent population mixture ratio of asphalt mixture was studied , parent population design procedure of asphalt mixture was put forward to determine the grade and optimum aspahlt content of parent population asphalt mixture. Through laboratory tests, theoretical analysis and comparisons with AC-16 asphalt concrete show that semi-flexible composite materials road expression good road performance (such as high temperature stability, water stability, low temperature cracking etc.), and has Line smaller contraction coefficient; In addition, the rebound modulus and strength to define a semi-split flexible pavement materials are somewhat flexible material areas, so design theories and methods of it is also common flexible pavement; through experiments Road and the application of physical works proposed the construction methods of semi-flexible pavement, construction machinery and quality control standards, Semi-flexible pavement in the future to promote the application of technology laid the foundation.In this paper, the pavement design, high temperature stability, low-temperature cracking and water stability of rubber asphalt semi-flexible was studied and paved the experiments road.
