Balance Research On Passenger Bus Assembly Line Based On Flexsim System Simulation

During the production process in manufacture corporation ,system simulation is a necessary and effective tool. With the development of batch production system, more and more attention was attracted which are about the problem of assembly line in the whole manufacture system. So,it is inevitable trend to apply the system simulation technology to resolve the balance problem in manufacture.The paper treats passenger bus assembly line in a passenger bus factory of Chengdu as a object.The correlate data of assembly line was collected and settled by the simulation technology, heuristic balance theory and investigation of the passenger bus assembly line.Also the processs chat of technology was ploted.The simulation model was established by the software named Flexsim based on the abstract entity from the simulation of passenger bus assembly line .The parameter setup was handled by the API function which was designed by C++.The first balance and second balance for passenger bus assembly line was carried out by the heuristic balance method.The compare about the utilization ,idle state and other important factors was executed before and after balance.The assembly line balance of passenger bus has a better improvement and productivity has enhanced obviously.The topic of this research is a preparation for the next system optimization of assembly line and workshop establishment layout of passenger bus. At the same time, it explored a convenient way on the research of the simulation and balance for the assembly line.
