| Datong Electric Locomotive Co.Ltd of CNR (China Northern Locomotive & Rolling Stock Industry Group Corporation) corporate with ALSTOM on the project of producing China DJ4 High-power AC electric locomotive. On-board display system of the Driver Display Units on the locomotive are generally imported, which result in inconvenience of repair and maintenance. The principle of this paper is to design a new set of on-board display system devices so as to make it domestic products. Major works are as follows:1. Compare and analyze five kinds of on-board display systems of domestic and foreign main stream electric locomotives in their hardware and the display content, pattern, to summarize a display interface that fit the system.2. Research technological features, communication protocol, data frame format, addressing mode and transmission mechanism of WorldFIP field-bus which is used on DJ4 electric locomotive.3. Design the hardware circuit of the system. Hardware platform of upper system includes Samsung S3C2410, which is selected as microprocessor, comprising storage unit, TFT liquid crystal interface, debug and download interface and community interface; Lower system hardware platform chose MCS-51 as microcontroller (MCU) on and designs RS-232 serial communication interface and WorldFIP Field-bus interface.4. By compiling control programs on lower system, realize state information acquisition of the electric locomotive through WorldFIP, which includes traction information, configuration and maintenance information, fault handling, .etc.5. Custom embedded operating system WinCE 5.0 of upper systematic hardware platform, finish the exploitation of Driver Display Units HMI using embedded exploitation tool LabVIEW PDA Module and realize the functions like real-time collection, storage and graphic display of electric locomotive.6. Evaluating the Driver Display Units HMI of on-board display system after establishing comprehensive evaluation model based on Grey theory.In a word, this paper shows a design of on-board display system with embedded system as its core, which is based on WorldFIP, including state information collection and graphic display of the electric locomotive. There is an examination proceed in the lab. The result shows that WorldFIP Field-bus interface works well, Driver Display Unit has friendly man-machine interface, state information are shown clearly. As a whole, the system is concurrent, stable, reliable and easy to upgrade and extend. However, to achieve the practical level, it has also to be enhanced. |
