The Research Of Street Private Houses With South China Urban High Density Environment

Urban street houses once been a main category of residence spread each town and city in China, they have accumulated thousand years of living custom and habitation culture. Present us huge distillations in art of ancient architecture. However, modern street houses are more like developing themselves restricted in Non-architecture (no architects involve) environment, construction by residentes make these dull dwelling filled all space of suburb, downtown of every city. The high speed impellent of urbanization with the sharp raise of population and decrease of land, make both ancient street houses and modern street dwelling are confronted with an immense challenge, the High Density. Many facts display the two contrary directions about street houses development in China, one is the large munbers of ancient houses been pull down downtown, another is a mass of modern miscreated dwelling growing suburb simultaneous. How to keep the eximious environment and regionally characteristics with higg density, explore the better model and feasible size of street houses space, make sure the sustaining development of residence, those become focus of this thesis.Based on the combination between architectural theories and design methods and multi disciplinary knowledge including sociology, economics, biology, psychology and ethology, this article investigated street houses with high density enviornment, which are existed in citys of southern China, by the working methods that include raising problem, confirming extension, analyzing problem and setting problem. Based on the investigation, the key factors and design guidelines, which influence the development of street houses space living mode are analyzed. Further more, some imagines of street houses space living mode in the future are suggested based on the design principles.This article is divided into five chapters, In chapter one, many things are be described including research of living problem of street houses at home and abroad, the development of these residence in china, the origin of it's thesis, definitions of relational concepts, research purpose, research meaning and research methods. In chapter two, summarize the concept and mode of stree houses, retrospect the history of street houses in southern area China, recommend current situation developed in Japan and Rurope. In chapter three, measures included expatiate and analysis of three types of space, which inside of street houses, included"Narrow Frontage, Long Depth House","Micro-Compact House","Aggregative House". In chapter four, Introduce street and square space, which outside the street houses, analysis it's charecteristic, function, elements ets, enumerate some examples of street space abroad as referenc. In chapter five, Analysis existing mode of street houses, intentd to offer new clews in of street houses space design.
