Stepping motor is a special motor devoted to location and speed control precisely. Stepping motor have the advantages of no stepping error accumulation, easily micro computer control, low cost and long life, so it is widely used in industrial control. On the base of expatiation of the Stepping motor work principle and the chief character, I analyzed and researched several of Stepping motor control, driving methods and power amplifier circuits in this thesis. The main task of this thesis is to research the mathematical model for the two-phase hybrid stepping motor system. The main circuit model and drive circuit model of the two-phase hybrid stepping motor system are established separately. Terminal voltages under the condition of current-continued, current-continued excessive and current cut-off caused by different current status (current value, frequency etc.), are analyzed and calculated when the windings series connecting.Various states (bridge rectifier, transistor turn on both; bridge rectifier turn off, transistor turn on; bridge rectifier turn on, transistor turn off; bridge rectifier, transistor turn off both )of the power circuit in driving circuits are analyzed and simplified to realize simulation easily. Finally, the terminal voltage determination sub module, current module, torque module, rotating voltage module and motion position module of two-phase hybrid stepping motor are established using MATLAB tool. The characteristic quantities of terminal voltage, displacement, angular velocity and torque-frequency characteristics are simulated. And the characteristics of the established mathematic model are analyzed and studied through the computer simulation method.
