Study On The Development Direction Of Passenger-Traffic In The Medium-Sized Cities

With rapid economic development in china, parts of medium-sized cities seize the opportunity to get onto the stage of rapid development. In the next 10 years, these cities have the possibility to transit extremely to the ranks of big cities. The urban scale's expansion, income level's enhancement, the motorization development, will have the profound influence to the resident. The urgent needs suitable transportation corresponds with it. Under this background, this paper has conducted the research to the medium-sized city passenger-traffic development direction.First, this paper analyzes the present situation of passenger traffic structure, expounding the tendency that non-motor vehicle journey transforms to the vehicle journey, indicating the urgency of constructing public transport system. Selecting evaluating indicators from the angle of meeting the transportation need and the sustainable development, this paper applies combined model on improved analytic hierarchy process and primary component analysis to evaluate traffic modes, for the rational trend of the passenger traffic structure in the medium-sized cities.Second, this paper analyzes and researches the structure of middle-city passenger transport, for harmonious development of all transportation modes developing and rational city passenger traffic system. On the basis of the detailed study of city p-traffic structure influencing factors, considering the sustainable development principle, this article uses the scene forecast analysis method and focuses on building the structure of passenger traffic under the expected scene. Taking the largest transport efficiency as the objective function, considering the demand, the environment, energy, transport policy constraints, author establishes a linear model for optimal structure, for the harmonious development and the higher transport efficiency.And then, the author carries on the preliminary analysis regarding the safeguard system of the medium-sized city passenger-traffic structure. This article makes a brief analysis to the establishment of the system. Finally, take Jiangyin as the example, basing on the analysis of its characters, development objectives and the status travel-characteristic of the residents, this paper analyzes its urban passenger transportation system's development strategy, using the model mentioned earlier, anglicizing the p-traffic structure under the expected scene.This article has carried on a detailed analysis of medium-sized city passenger transport development direction, and a study on its development strategy as well as the method to build the reasonable transport structure in the future. It has certain guidance function to medium-sized city's passenger-traffic development, and explains its theory use value by the part analysis of the example of Jiangyin City.
