Dynamic Analysis And Applied Study On The Intermittent Chain Drive Mechanical System

Taking the intermittent chain drive system as analysis object and the intermittent chain drive system of the die-cutting machine as an example, this paper analyzes the motion of the system. The theory of dynamic is researched and the method of modling is also explored on the intermittent chain drive system.Kinematic analysis of the intermittent chain system is presented. The intermittent chain drive system of the die-cutting machine is drived by indexing cam machine for intermitten motion(accelerated-decelerated-cease). Duo to the impact between chains and sprockets is so large in indexing point, a model considering the penetration in sprocket is established, and the impact force is researched. Inertia forces of lumped mass in the system and the velocity of the chain is carried out with different motion curves.Refering to the frame of the die-cutting machine, the tensile force of the intermittent chain drive system is analyzed. Considering the factors that influence the dynamic characteristics of the intermittent chain drive system, a dynamic model which can reflect the characteristics of the intermittent chain system accurately is established by applying finite element method, and the corresponding equation is setted up.Modal Superposition Method is employed to solve the equation. An initial analysis on the dynamic performance of the system is made through different motion curves. Some valuable results are provided for engineering design and manufacture.Refering to the characteristic of intermittent chain drive system, the design of motion laws for the system is studied on the basis of dynamic analysis, the dynamic performance of the system when carried out by different motion laws is the main elements to choosing a right motion curve for the intermittent chain drive system.
