Study On Optical And Mechanical Subsystem Of High Speed Color Sorter Based On CCD

As high-tech equipment with optics, electrics and mechanics, color sorter is used to eliminate bad materials by optical information. It is widely used in agriculture, industry, mining and so on, in order to improve the quality, value-added and safety of materials. The popularize degree of color sorter can reflect the degree of a national or regional processing and automation technology, the popularize degree of food safety consciousness and the science of materials processing or pretreatment. It can also reflect the cost and efficiency of work force and developed degree of economy society indirectly.The objective of this paper is designing an optical and mechanical subsystem of high speed color sorter based on CCD. The main work includes: design and experiment of the theory machine of color sorter; select the spectra and lamp-house; design imaging system; design machinery structure of all parts in optics system; the assembly and calibration scheme of camera.We set up the optics system of rice color sorter according to the spectra obtained by detecting reflectivity of rice and impurity in different wavelength light of visible range. And then design imaging system by two kind schemes. Finally, the imaging system chooses the method which use commerce imaging lens.In the field of mechanical structure, we use rigid structure frame as installation benchmarks of optics system, assemble CCD chips, drive's interface circuit and imaging lens by the structure of industry camera. Besides, we work out the scheme of adjusting camera, design appropriative equipment of camera calibration, in order to achieve the camera hundred-percent crossing-over.In the finality of this paper, we introduce the examination in scene which use CCD color sorter. The results of examination prove that the system is feasible.
