Study On Correlation Between Bulk Cargo Transportation And Social Economic Development Of The Yangtse River

The Yangtse River is the main artery of our country in the east and western regions down the ages. It is the most important major waterway of our country, and is also "the gold link" that links the gear development of east and west economy. The riparian economic belt is the most important economy corridor of high density in our country that occupies important position in society economic growth of our country. As an important part of the synthetical transport system in Yangtse Valley, the Yangtse River shipping is bearing large amount of freight volume, especially displays irreplaceable effect to the bulk cargo transportation, and it is vitally interrelated with development of the riparian social economy that has made an ever indelible contribution to the development of the social economy.This paper has a thorough analysis on the inherent mechanism of the interaction between the Yangtse River bulk-cargo transportation and riparian industry development, and combining with the condition of the Yangtse River bulk-cargo transports and current situation of the industry layout along the Yangtse River, expounds the Yangtse River bulk-cargo transport and riparian industry development interaction. So that we can have a more limpid and scientific cognition to the relation with the Yangtse River bulk-cargo transports and the development of the riparian social economy, improve value degree to the Yangtse River bulk-cargo transports, bring advantage of the Yangtse River shipping which is low energy consumption, few field occupancy, large transport capacity, low cost and small contamination into play and realize the sustainable development of social economy. According to qualitative analysis, we reach the conclusion that the Yangtse River bulk-cargo transporting and riparian society economic growth is interdependent and interwoven. At the same time, choosing typical nodes, wielding theories and knowledges related to mathematics statistics and gray system, having the aid of SPSS and Matlab, the paper calculate the correlation coefficent and gray correlation degree of the main bulk-cargo in the Yangtse River and the Riparian society economic growth, along with correlation coefficent of riparian energy industry and the Yangtse River coal transportation, riparian steel industry and the Yangtse River iron ore transport. In order to explain the problem in a further step, the paper makes regression analysis to the Yangtse River bulk-cargo transportation and the development of the riparian social economy. Also it has described the high correlativity between the main bulk-cargo of the Yangtse River transportation and riparian society economic growth by using large amount of full and accurate data.Based on the qualitative analysis and quantify studies, this paper considers that the Yangtse River bulk-cargo transportation and the development of riparian social economy are mutual restraint and promotes each other mutually. They are vitally interrelated and interwoven. We should give more attention to the Yangtse River bulk-cargo transportation so that it can make more contribution to the development of the social economy. Therefore, the paper gives some countermeasures and suggestions to the harmonious development of the Yangtse River bulk-cargo transportation and riparian social economy.
