| There are many ancient villages and towns in the Middle Reaches of Qinhe River. Because of plenty of inheritance, It has been the important part of history culture resources in our country. As sown as Shanxi Province bring into effect new pattern energy sources and industrial base, it brings the big development of social economy in this region. On the other hand, ancient villages and towns in the Middle Reaches of Qinhe River also faces hardly destructive. How to protecting , using even developing the ancient villages and towns in fast city progress with science and availably means, have become much important for economy and culture improved in the Middle Reaches of Qinhe River.Based on adequate of field survey and research in the Middle Reaches of Qinhe River, analyse and summarize the problem and inconsistency. Then link to the background of Qinhe River, Through material example research, author concluded idea and countermeasure of protection, development and use in allusion to the ancient villages and towns in the Middle Reaches of Qinhe River.Author considers that on this issue, on the question of protection and using of the traditional towns, absorbing its historical spacial context, using substantial development thoughts, combine today's towns construction with its own cultural history and its natural ecological environments, enable the ancient villages and towns reflecting the regional ,social, cultural and economical features, and also satisfying modem people's living, working and playing ways, the way to let today's planning and constructions of ancient villages and towns being an entirety of nature, society, economic and technique should be our destination..Planning and constructing with these principles and thoughts, the valuable sources of ancient villages and towns must make more contributions to re-creation of regional culture and modern life. This is the final purpose of the research of this thesis.
